As of May 15, 2012, Iron Point Capital Management, the marketing name for investment advisory services offered through Brecek & Young Advisors Inc., has merged with Ladenburg Thalmann Asset Management (LTAM), a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). The Iron Point portfolios will now be managed by LTAM in a consistent manner and will be available on several platforms as well as directly with LTAM.

The two firms shared a common investment philosophy, starting with a strategic asset allocation supported by tactical portfolio adjustments to take advantage of market conditions. LTAM will continue to provide all of the existing services of Iron Point, such as market commentaries, fund research and due diligence, and periodic investment updates directly from the management team. LTAM also conducts quarterly conference calls for clients to provide market and portfolio updates. We look forward to continuing to serve advisors and their clients by providing professionally managed portfolios to help meet client’s present and future financial needs.
